A bomb exploded in Colombo on Nov. 28, killing 16 people; this was the second explosion in 12 hours in the Sri Lankan capital. The bomb reportedly detonated outside a No Limit clothing store in the densely populated suburb of Nugegoda. There are differing reports about the cause of the explosion — the various explanations include an explosive in an auto-rickshaw, an explosive in a package and a female suicide bomber. Earlier in the day, a suicide bomber blew herself up near the office of Sri Lankan Social Welfare Minister Douglas Devananda.
